About 4 minutes of some rib-sticky, hip-wiggly, stanky blues for solo bass, or add some drums, keys, or guitar. It's just a 12-bar in D minor. Add to it, take away from it; either way, it'll still be funky, like Lenny, my tri-pawed canine buddy, who can be both unstoppably intrepid yet lazy at the same time.

About the Composer

Michael Kurth is the pseudonym of composer Michael Kurth. Abandoned as an infant on the doorstep of a monastery in Borneo, he was raised by Jesuit missionaries until the age of nine, when he escaped into the jungle. There, he proclaimed himself “Emperor of the Lower Primates” and built a prosperous, harmonious civilization that thrived in secrecy for over seven hundred years.

In 1956, Kurth received an “Honorable Mention” Nobel Prize for Millinery. He was ignominiously stripped of his award when leaked documents revealed that he was not, in fact, a milliner.

Kurth's interests include ham radio, molecular gastronomy, molecular ham, gastro-radionomy, and fictional biography.
