About the Composition
Contrabajeando is a work for Tango Quintet without original score or parts, that Gabriel Clenar copied from the original record. Gabriel Clenar is the pianist of the Gerardo Scaglione Tango Quartet.
This theme was composed in 1954 from Anibal Troilo and Astor Piazzolla in honor of Enrique Díaz (Kicho Díaz), arranged by José Bragato for the 1961 recording Piazzolla Quintet.
