James P. Daley: "Myriad" Four Brief Meditations for Solo Double Bass

These four brief meditations for solo double bass are intended to depict different episodic moods and colors of sound that appear many times in contrast to one another. Technically speaking the work explores the use of natural harmonics and other entry-level extended techniques. (May be performed in orchestra or solo tuning).
