About the Collection
The collection is primarily aimed at young bassist students in their first years of training, who need to know the works where the most important passages are found for the double bass solo and the double bass section. Accompaniment
The collection is supported by piano accompaniment, with minus one for home study to improve practice for any audition.
On the minus one tracks, you will, in some cases, hear two tracks. One is for practicing alone, and the other is for practicing with a cellist. For example, in passages from Beethoven’s 5th and 9th Symphony or the solo from G. Verdi’s Rigoletto, the solo is shared with the cello section or the principal cellist.
The tracks begin with one or two beat bars indicating time, followed by one blank bar to start playing.
