About the Composition

“Resurrección del Ángel” is part of The Angel Series or Angel Suite. Is a group of compositions integrated by Introducción al Ángel (Introduction to the Angel), Milonga del Ángel (Dance of the Angel), La Muerte del Ángel (Death of the Angel) and Resurrección del Ángel (Resurrection of the Angel). Introduction and Death were used in or written for Alberto Rodríguez Muñoz’s play in 1962, “Tango del Ángel” 3 in 1962 and the Milonga and resurrection composed in 1965, that were part of the LP “Concierto de Tango en el Philharmonic Hall de New York."
