The pieces are ideal for intermediate players exploring 1st to thumb positions up to G. We recommend these pieces for the double bassist who:

•Has played for 3-4 years
•Has a stable bow hold
•Good sound production fundamentals, and has practiced one, two, and three-octave  major and minor scales. 

While most of the solos are in bass clef, you will find some solos, or excerpts, in treble clef.
