About the Hymns

This is a collection of five old hymns arranged for cello and double bass, from Appalachia, New England, and other locations and cultures. The hymns are Wondrous Love, Were You There, O love, How Deep, When Jesus Wept, and Morning Has Broken. These works have been effective as concert pieces and as service music in churches, especially during the Lent season. They can be performed individually or as a set.
