About the Composition

“That Woman Is Me” is a work for double bass and electronics inspired by the poem of the same name by the poet Galia Monzón. Like the poem itself, the music is a satire of human beauty; the structure is directly related to the sequence of verses in the poem, and the performance is filled with sounds and effects that create a fascinating dialogue between the double bass and the audio track.
