About the Composition

"That Woman is Me" is a work for double bass and electronics inspired by the homonymous poem by the poet Galia Monzón. As the poem itself, the music is a satire of human beauty, the structure is directly related to the sequence of verses of the poem and the discourse is full of sounds and effects that create a very interesting dialogue between the double bass and the audio track.

Honorable Mention of the 2024 ISB David Walter Composition Competition in the double bass and electronic media division.
